Establishing a road association

A road association can be established through a private road survey by the National Land Survey or at a founding meeting arranged among the shareholders.

Establishing a road association creates transparency among the shareholders. It makes decision-making easier and brings clarity to matters important for road upkeep, such as road maintenance, finances and the road fees collected from all road users.

Financial support for road associations from the Economic Development Centre and the municipality requires that a road association has been established.
